OUR STORY
This chic, light-filled space is one of Melbourne's oldest wool mills – the only remnants of its previous life are the soaring ceilings, striking black beams and exposed brick walls. Set over two levels, there are five distinct spaces: the private laneway that's perfect for photo ops, the 136-person mezzanine, the "I do" room, the 210-person feasting hall and the moody speakeasy bar.
Entering the venue, you immediately notice the 8m vaulted ceilings and warehouse aesthetics. White brick walls, polished concrete floors, and black timber beams create an industrial vibe that’s softened by potted plants and soft, romantic drapes.

We have no words to explain how amazing our experience with the team at The Wool Mill was for our wedding. From the Goodsmiths to Anatomy of Flowers and all of their suppliers, the way they made our planning an absolute breeze was second to none. We had our wedding at The Wool Mill, and it looked absolutely gorgeous! On the wedding night, we had so many comments on how stunning the venue is and that more people need to know about it. These comments came from guests, including our cake maker who sees all kinds of venues across Victoria. I love that it’s very typical Melbourne down a lovely laneway and the festoon lights are beautiful! The best part of the venue is the ‘secret’ speakeasy bar, which is also very Melbourne-esque. Everyone loved it!
